Kate has always had a love for animals and began volunteering at local animal shelters at a young age. After graduating from Durham College for Animal Care, they joined the Ritson team as a Veterinary Assistant and quickly found their passion in medicine. Kate’s favourite part of working with the Ritson team is forming a bond with the animals that visit the clinic.
“Whether it’s seeing them grow up over their wellness exams, or comforting them during emergencies, being a part of each animal’s journey is honestly a gift.”
Outside of the clinic, Kate spends most of their time curled up on the couch with their cat Blanche watching scary movies, collecting art and tattoos, and going to punk concerts.
