How does euthanasia work?
We have a quiet and private room in our hospital for the procedure. The euthanasia drug is administered intravenously. First, it will cause your pet to lose consciousness. Once they are asleep, the medication will stop your pet’s breathing and other organ functions. The procedure is 100% pain free and is complete in a matter of minutes.
Can I be with my pet during the procedure?
Absolutely. If it is your wish, you can be with your pet until the very end. We will give you plenty of time to say your goodbye to them. Please feel free to bring their favourite toy or blanket to provide them with added comfort.
