Veterinary Technician
Rachel Graduated from Northern College in 2020 as a Veterinary Technician. Before graduating she began her career with animals working as an ACA at the humane society caring for dogs, cats and exotic animals. After her completion of Veterinary Technician, she worked in emergency medicine at a 24hr animal hospital and recently joined the Ritson Vet team in December 2021.
An area of the Veterinary industry that interests her the most is surgery/anesthesia as well as patient care. Being able to discover what she can do to make each pets life more enjoyable is very important to her while working at RVC. Knowing that no two days are the same allows her to experience new challenges everyday that enable her with a rewarding career of opportunity and growth.
On her spare time, she enjoys skiing, hiking with her friends and being outdoors. Fun fact about Rachel is that she tree planted in Northern Ontario the past 3 summers.
